I have only 1 Cheviot ewe and 2 Cheviot rams. These are apart of the American Cheviot Sheep Society.
Grand Champion Breeding Ram
"Pretty Boy"
Pretty Boy was the Grand Champion white faced ram at the Western Idaho Fair. He was born in March of 2000.
He has good Cheviot qualities. He's very attentive, he has the nice Cheviot head, and he fits for show very well. He has a pretty good temperament. We purchased him in Mt. Angel, Oregon. I bred him last season to both my Cheviots ewes. To see lambs from Pretty Boy, go to my "Lambs For Sale" page.
Breeding Ewes
"Pixie"
This is one of my Cheviot ewes, her name is "Pixie." Pixie is about a year and a half old and is going to be ewe for my Cheviot lambs. She's going to be bred with my Grand Champion Cheviot ram, "Pretty Boy." She's a little wild but I know she'll calm down once our breeding season's over and I'll be able to put her in a smaller pen and work with her one-on-one. That's what I do with all my lambs that are a little wild. I work with them one-on-one until they follow me around like little puppy dogs. Pixie has great Cheviot qualities. She has the cheviot head and their attentiveness. She'll produce great babies.
"In Memory of Star"
I'm sorry to inform all of you but Star passed away last spring because of pregnancy difficulties. However she did leave behind a healthy ram which we named Frost.
This is a picture of Star and Pretty Boy when we first got them. They really got a long well.
